Pharmaceutical Laboratory for Quality Control of Final Product

Since March 2010, BCN Peptides has been authorised by the Spanish Health Authorities to work as Pharmaceutical Laboratory for the analysis of Final Pharmaceutical Product. With this License we can offer to our customers the possibility to perform the Analytical development, validations and tests both for the release and for the stability Studies of Final Pharmaceutical Product.

US FDA Audit

We are proud to communicate, that after a four days audit (15th-18th March), BCN Peptides has been approved by US FDA for the GMP Manufacture of Peptides, following ICH Q7. Let us remark that this is our second US FDA audit, first approval was in November 2006, but this is our first US FDA audit in our New Manufacturing Site located in Sant Quintí de Mediona (Barcelona, Spain). This site is a state of the art facility for the manufacture of API peptides using Solid Phase Synthesis technology.

Two New CEPs for BCN Peptides: Buserlin and Goserelin

BCN Peptides has received two new CEPs from the European Pharmacopoeia for Buserelin and Goserelin. Today the company holds a total of 6 CEPs for Salmon Calcitonin, Leuprolide, Somatostatin, Desmopressin, Buserelin and Goserelin.

New Manufacturing Site

BCN Peptides has built a brand new custom-design facility that allows us to manufacture multi kilo batches of GMP Peptide using SPPS technology. Also this site is designed to be able to manufacture sterile grade peptides. We encourage you come to Barcelona and visit the best site for the SPPS of peptides.

US FDA Audit
November 10, 2006
From 6th to 8th November 2006, we have been inspected by US FDA for the first time.
As a result, the FDA inspectors conclude that BCN Peptides is compliance with cGMP, and no deficiencies were observed. For this reason no FDA 483 was issued.
